Yeah, well, it's nowhere near the number of people who will vote because they believe false promises without wondering whether or not some candidates' ideas are actually practical.

Back to the OP. In the criticisms I've heard about Obama one I've NEVER heard was that he was stupid. I'm not sure how this then somehow gets equated into something racial. People can disagree about proposed policies without race being involved.
For a candidate who was transcending race,it is ironic that some of his supporters seem to be fixated on it.

Typically you'll find this same group among any candidates supporters or detractors. They tend to reason based on emotion because they are simply too lazy to do the work required to present a well formulated argument. Debate is merely a schoolyard exercise in he said, she said, and he hit me first. The extent that adults find this a viable way to pick a candidate is astounding, and if socialism is the cure, by all means we should endure it for at least 12 years, if for nothing else, the survival of the world of reason.

I will say this, he is definitely smarter than McCain... by smarter, I mean "intelligent".... don't get me wrong, I hate all of them still, being intelligent doesn't make one immune from corruption... which all the candidates are at fault with.. well, most of them anyways...

Really, let's cut to the chase. Alot of Obama haters don't like him because he's black. That's the dirty little secret. "Not in my ethnic group, not gonna vote for him". And that's probably the kindest opinion some of them might have.

Give the guy a chance. Pretend he's a white guy who just happens to have some black DNA. Whatever it takes. But to call this man stupid is over the top.

Who said he's stupid? I've never heard that complaint.

Isn't it Clinton's argument to use the popular vote of Puerto Rico to establish her claim as the Democratic Nominee? What I find interesting is, this has been established Prior to that populace casting a single vote. I'd be interested in what others think based upon the argument that Puerto Rico cannot cast a vote for the Presidency.

I do not think Obama is stupid, I have never thought that.
He might act stupid sometimes, but so do a lot of folks.
He knew exactly what he was doing getting his O Train moving.
He went to the young, because he knew how to relate to them,
he knew how to use the Internet and of course his speeches
went right where he aimed. He got the media stunned because he had the rock star crowds. He knew how to get money and got it by the truck loads.
He says he is for a "New Washington" but he has the "OLD Washington" lapping him up, like that ass Ted Kennedy.
He is being courted around and thinks he can do no wrong.
Stupid?? No, not at all.
Do I think he will make a good president, no, or I would have voted for him.
I could care less if the next president is black or white or mulit-colored,
it can be a man or woman or a little of both, I do not care.
But Obama is not for me, and I believe the country will live to regret him being elected, if he is. It will be interesting how his supporters will spin it and how the media as well as the super-delegates who are deciding all of this will try and pass the buck before it is over.
