I'm just commenting on the claims you made in post #8, about "empirical data" and all...

Why weren't people screaming "INEXPERIENCED!!' when George Dubya Bush was running for office?

People were screaming. Bush won because he carried the religious conservatives.

Really, let's cut to the chase. Alot of Obama haters don't like him because he's black. That's the dirty little secret. "Not in my ethnic group, not gonna vote for him". And that's probably the kindest opinion some of them might have.

Give the guy a chance. Pretend he's a white guy who just happens to have some black DNA. Whatever it takes. But to call this man stupid is over the top.
I support Hillary Clinton... and if I could vote today I would vote for her. I'm not supporting Obama because of his race, or because I think he's stupid. I just think Hillary Clinton will make a better president... and that's what we want in the white house.

If Obama had been white, he would have been gone about the same time as Edwards. I think his religion is a bigger concern--not the one he claims to be but the one he possibly could be. I think he created this preacher thing to convince the NC voters that he is not Muslim. It was all politics. I see him and the preacher reconciling when it is convenient.

Bill Clinton put the race question in perspective a long time ago for me. The color of ones skin is only a small part of ones DNA. Certainly not enough that is should make a difference. Now culture and social is another part that can be considered. Obama just seemed to be very uncomfortable when he was in North Carolina. I wondered why? Hillary was very relaxed and had a great personality, but he acted ill at ease and strained. The North Carolina people could not have been more friendly to him.

^^^ I agree wholeheartedly. Obama's race does NOT matter to me. And Hillary being a woman also doesn't matter to me. I just think that out of the three, she's the best candidate for the job.

And I've also never called him stupid, just not experienced enough to be our president.

Yes there are people who will vote based on race, but that doesn't mean all people will. You guys pull the race card everytime somebody doesn't agree with you. In other words...

STOP WHINING BECAUSE PEOPLE DON'T LIKE OBAMA. CHOOSING HILLARY OR MCCAIN OVER OBAMA DOES NOT MAKE A PERSON A RACIST. OBAMA IS TOO LIBERAL FOR MANY PEOPLE. HE IS WAY MORE LIBERAL THAN HILLARY. THEY ARE NOT SIMILAR ON POSITIONS LIKE PEOPLE TRY TO MAKE IT LOOK, SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY PREFER ONE OVER THE OTHER. STOP CRYING.

Now you heard it from somebody black.
Thanks for your post!!!
