That was not an answer to my question. My question is, is it racism when 90% of blacks vote for a white candidate, as they tend to do and have done during nearly every president election over the past 30 years?

The policy positions of Clinton & Obama are very close, and for the most part are diametrically opposed to McCain's. So a current Hillary supporter voting for McCain over Obama in November = racist.

Inexperienced = stupid .

People say Obama is "inexperienced", and yet look at George Bush. This guy ran a state like Texas on auto pilot for almost a decade before becomming president. Bush beat Anne Richards by running a gay bashing campaign appealing to trailer trash and baser instincts, and he did the same against McCain in 2000, using robo-calls implying he was too friendly with gays and was a "manchurian candidate". Now McCain is saying "Please sir, may I have another. I was wrong, I've lost my gay loving ways. George Bush was right. Please sir, may I have another. Vote McCain". Republicans were right, McCain is a manchurian candidate. He's been reprogrammed by eight years of defeat and humiliation into a degenerate form that bares very little resemblence to his former self.

I just don't see how inexperienced sticks with Obama. Inexperienced at what? Greasing the wheels of politics? Maybe it's time for a change. This guy has lots of experience as a civil rights attorney and state legislature. He's delt with issues, he's got new ideas and a new direction.

Honestly I could live with a Hillary presidency. I voted for Edwards but it is time to move on. I'm a Democrat through and through and it is time for the party to get united, not divided. Obama is a good candidate, and even if he loses because of racism, at least Democrats finally took a stand with some backbone beyond the triangulation politics the Clintons brought us. Our country will self-destruct if that happens, but at leat Democrat can finally say we grew a backbone and stood for something instead of scheming and pandering and in the end, winning nothing.

Victory without honor is worthless, that's something Democrats need, especially James Carville and the gang, need to learn. Honor your core principles, and eventually people take you seriously. Some things are worth more than getting another politician in office, another Supreme Court nominee. For decades Republicans learned this lesson and honed it into a keen edge and that's how they pulled off the miracle of George Bush. Why won't Democrats learn the same? This isn't Baskin Robinns with a flavor of the month that you can sell to real people. America needs leaders with a vision, and not just a shopping list of items to be filled by some government program.

That's just my opinion of Barak Obama. I'm a white guy, don't even have that many friends that are black (hardly any) and certainly don't listen to gangster rap. To be honest, I probably would walk across the street if I saw a menacing black youth walking on the sidewalk- like a "typical white person". So what? I can put all that aside and use my reasoning analytic brain to see through all that. Obama is the man for the times. Maybe I'm just smart enough to see that.

Jesse Jackson isn't black? Blacks overwhelmingly voted AGAINST Jackson in the primaries in both 1984 and 1988 with the exception of South Carolina. So I'm asking again: do you find it racist when a majority of blacks vote for white candidates?

Your statement makes no sense. Are you trying to be facetious? How could it be racist when I majority of one race votes for a candidate of the other race?
I find it interesting that when a black says he voted for a black because he is black and when a woman says she voted for a woman because she is a woman, that is okay. But if a white man votes for a white man because he is a white man, then he is a racist chauvinistic pig!

Obama is just plain dumb, not stupid. He is dumb about people, dumb about life, dumb about how the world works. He ought not to be so dumb. I don't care that he lacks "experience". That can be ameliorated with common sense and good judgment (and being surrounded by smart and experienced people). Obama has neither. If he made sense, even I would be for him. But, he is dangerous and driven with an insidious agenda backed by the super rich and elite white boys who hold the purse strings. Instead, he needs to be encouraged to go back to Harvard to a dark, dank classroom and teach oratory, or something else equally insignificant and benign. Let's not allow him to be turned loose on the public or ruin what is left of our nation. El Jorge has done enough damage; let's not put in another loser to finish us off.

Okay, so now we're getting somewhere. It's okay for 90% of blacks to vote for a white candidate. It's NOT okay for 90% of blacks to vote for a black candidate. That's racism. You learn something new every day at C-D.com

According to who? Straw man loving HillBillies who try to change the subject to shine a light away from their own biases? Most white men are going to vote for white men because most white politicians and nominees are white men.

Now that is a very literate condemnation of his candidacy. Clearly you have ideological differences with him and I can understand your fear. However there is little choice this year. Do you really want a continuation of El Jorge or a return of Bill Clinton? Clearly we need something different. Obama will have a new agenda that he will be trying at a trying time. Will a majority think it is the answer who knows. However will a majority think that a continuation of is the answer I doubt it.
