How do you know? Are you an official in the McCain campaign? OK, I'll take this thread down if y'all take down all of the "Obama's VP" threads.

In 1976. Well, it doesn't seem to have hurt his career or political aspirations since then, does it?
You might want to post another link. I don't think many of us would be willing to pay to read the whole article.

Why, pray tell, would Obama ask a republican to be his VP?

I think that JC Watts has some financial scandal in his past. And NoBama wouldn't ask his to be his VP, McCain would.

I haven't the foggiest -- hence my skepticism.
Surely no one is arguing that old man McCain would cynically name a fringe player like Watts just to curry favor with African-Americans...?
That would be both perfidious and collusive.

I just think it's a symbolic, cynical, "Republican Obama" ploy, and that JC Watts hasnt said he's interested. But you're right, who knows. I sure dont.
I've never posted, or posted in, an Obama VP thread. Dont ever take down a thread
His uncle was very interesting and brave, too bad he's gone. Now HIM I'd vote for. Wade Watts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"If you read the posts on the IL forum, you would understand that Southern IL and AR are much closer to KY than Cook County, in more ways than one. If he doesn't want to campaign there, that's his business.
Why go thru the tsuris if you don't have to?"
