You are right, he would make a good VP for McCain but I don't think he would take it. He is so done with politics.

I went to the same church as JC Watts when I lived in Oklahoma City. I believe he is a great man, but I am not sure he would be a strong VP candidate. He would indeed balance the ticket, and would bring any doubting evangelicals on board, but I am not sure if he is strong enough to be President if something was to happen to McCain.

I think he is. He served 8 years in Congress on a variety of top committees plus he's a successful businessman and journalist. He's intelligent, affable, and a straight-talker.

I don't understand. Do you mean that if JC Watts is McCain's VP you'd vote for them or McCain would lose your vote?

OK, I guess I need to clear this up. I thought folks knew who JC Watts is or, if they didn't, they'd click on the link I provided.

JC Watts is a former GOP Congressman from Oklahoma, a Baptist minister, a successful business owner, and a journalist. He was considered one of the GOP's rising stars and is a staunch conservative. His name has been tossed around as a running mate for Fred Thompson and Ron Paul, and he's also been urged to run for Governor of Oklahoma. I'm suggesting him as a great VP for McCain.

What. JC Watts is a strong republican and Obama is the most liberal their is.

JC Watts is far more experienced, has a better resume and has common sense and would tower over Obama. Maybe Obama could work for Watts someday!

Watts wouldnt touch Obama with all those skeletons Obama has. It would tarnish him for life.
