His uncle was very interesting and brave, too bad he's gone. Now HIM I'd vote for. Wade Watts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thank you for that story, very heartfelt. Boy, compare Wade Watts attitude to that of Reverend Wright, it's night and day. One preached and lived unconditional love, to even the worst types of people, the other profits from hate. WW would have been a dem that I would proudly have voted for. Thanks again.

JC Watts is a former GOP Congressman from Oklahoma, a Baptist minister, a successful business owner, and a journalist. He was considered one of the GOP's rising stars and is a staunch conservative. His name has been tossed around as a running mate for Fred Thompson and Ron Paul, and he's also been urged to run for Governor of Oklahoma. I'm suggesting him as a great VP for McCain.
What I think Chefkey is saying is that Watts is still a black person. In fact, in the eyes of some Americans out there, they would rather vote for Obama since he is racially mixed rather then Watts who looks more African purebred. And the sad thing is this is regardless of party affiliation... Open your eyes for once and welcome to America Teatime!!

I know of him and have watched his commentary on CNN I just forgot his affiliation when I posted. He seems like a decent man who deserves to be considered as VP for McCain but this wouldn't sway my vote from Obama unless he chooses him LOL.

No, you missed Chefkey's clarification, which is now gone for some reason. He said he didn't support two African-Americans on the same ticket -- he thought I meant Watts as Obama's VP.

My first thought was that Watts is a Democrat when I read the post. Sorry to sterotype that most Blacks are Dems but they are. McCain/Watts might actually work but my first thought was Obama/Watts and this would be polarizing to the country.

Surely no one is arguing that old man McCain would cynically name a fringe player like Watts just to curry favor with African-Americans...?

That would be both perfidious and collusive.
ahahahaha

Well at least you learned something rather quickly… I wonder, however, what can be said of the uneducated or under educated in the hills, mountains and areas of Appalachia, who cant get any or a quick education just like you just had?

The GOP looks at the roster and finds its bullpen of Negro relievers is a bit short.

JC Watts? Is that the secret anti-Obama weapon? What, Al Keyes wasn't available?

ROAFLAO!

Uh, sorry to disappoint, but Watts is far more qualified to run for high office than Obama is. So, are you suggesting that the Dems old guard like Teddy No Pants needed a young "Negro" to run as some sort of gimmick?

Watts happens to fill in the gaps for McCain. He's a staunch conservative, evangelical, has business and domestic experience, and he's young.

I've always liked Watts and was sorry when he chose to not run for another term. I get the impression that he's an intelligent man with integrity. Besides, he played football and I love football. He'd get my vote in a heartbeat.
