Default JC Watts for VP!!!

JC Watts, IMO, would be the BEST VP and, later, President! He's got an impressive resume, a great personality, and he tells it like it is!

You know, I could dig that -- and I say that without regard to his skin color (which won't help anyway).

JC has a great story to tell, he is bright, young, successful articulate and conservative. I just don't think he wants it.

Yeah, he's doing well in the private sector and it's hard to trade that for the public spotlight once again -- but I hope they could convince him! He is so very qualified and would TRULY be a breath of fresh air!

JC Watts in Congress did not show himself eager or able to get along with diverse constituencies. Didn't he have some scandal concerning adultery after he left Congress?

Obama and Watts on the same ticket?

Pretty daring.

McCain wolud counter with Alan Keyes.

Then we could all emigrate to Brazil.

If memory serves, I believe he fathered a child out of wedlock when he was young.

He's a latecomer to ministry in the Southern Baptist Convention so he can't have too many serious peccadillos.

"Newsweek last month reported a lesson learned by J.C. Watts, the Republican congressman from Oklahoma who is a potential vice president in 2001. Rep. Watts was a high-school senior in Oklahoma in 1976 and "king of the campus-until he got a white girl pregnant." Rep. Watts is black."

What's all the kerfuffle about JC Watts. He's not in the running for VP. What's the point of this thread?
