Default McCain: Get on my lawn!

McCain is slow to gain young voters - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080519/pl_politico/10436 - broken link)

Is it that more young people tend to be Democrats while older people tend to vote Republican? Or just that no one in their right mind really likes the idea of John McCain as President?

You are right about that, I believe we are tired of hearing the same old speeches every four years. We are looking for someone who will truly try and represent the people. And a large majority of my age group feel the older generations have let everything get so far out of hand that a drastic change is in order. Contrary to a lot of the older generation's opinions, we are not by any means "stupid". And some of us still believe in morals and freedom. And we come from a much more accepting period in history where racial lines have truly dimmed to nearly nothing. So yes, I think to grab the younger vote you really have to have a new, fresh line of bull to sell us. Because the old junk just ain't cuttin it no more!
