There must be hope for this country when even a former Klansman like Robert Byrd endorses Obama.

I thought West Virginians hated Obama? Well as goes Sen Byrd, so goes the state. Having been in the state, every other highway has his name on it, parks, buidlings, he is a beloved character in WV. Go Sen Byrd.

Besides Byrd, Obama has picked up two more superdelegates today: Wa. State Democratic Chair Dwight Pelz and Kansas Democratic Party Chair Larry Gates. This gives Obama 300.5 supers and he now leads Clinton in the delegate count 1913-1719.

His endorsement wouldn't matter to West Virginians. He keeps getting elected because he brings money to the state, not because he's seen as a superhero or something.

Now Obama gets an endorsement from a former KKK member. Wow racism is dead.

That is what I like about the Democrat Party. They are all inclusive as long as you grease the palm and kiss the babies on the campaign trail, even ex-KKK members.

Why would Obama want a redneck ex KKK member's endorsement? I guess whatever it takes, and from the candidate for change.
