Where are we at with the temporary suspension of the gax tax? We had two influential members of the senate advocate for it while campaigning. I have not heard much about it of late. Am I missing something? How are these two candidates doing with using their experience and persuasive powers to serve the American people as they are saying they will. Is the bill in committee? Is it likely to pass? It is Memorial Day weekend and to some that means the start of vacation season and I thought they were going to deliver it for this summer. Weren't they?

Only the people of WV and KY needed to hear that BS. So it's over. BTW, gas prices now average $ 4. So much for the 17 cents savings.

Good point. The gas tax was everywhere during NC and Indiana - where are the proponents now?

LOL, snicker snicker snort.

Oh thank you for bringing this up again. Yup, it's a stunning example of how candidates tell you what you want to hear and then do nothing about it.

Another example of how different our regional opinions are. On Tuesday in Kentucky, democrats polled there overhwhelmingly liked the idea, meanwhile, Oregon dems were overwhelmingly opposed.

Is that a regional difference or a education difference?

Well, i guess it's both considering there's nothing but cows and horses in KY and WY while OR enjoys its softaware industry boom.
