Default Democrats taking a gamble nominating Obama

RealClearPolitics - Articles - Obama's Woes: A Tale of Three States

Looks like he's the longshot in the General Election.

Good article. I agree. Especially, IMO, if Romney is McCain's VP choice.

How about Gallup Polling?

WH2008: General

Not exactly a gamble or a longshot... McCain/Obama are neck and neck, with similar numbers for Clinton/McCain

It is a good article.

I like Romney too, because he has that "economy" experience that McCain lacks.

I'm not crazy about Huckabee because he's a religious conservative but I'm not sure that his religious ideas would make him a bad VP. Mrs. Huckabee seems like a really nice lady.

Once again, this is just another supporter of the losing candidate espousing the desperate tactics "Vote for me because I can beat McCain." Let it rest.

The problem is that these are NATIONAL polls, not state by state. You can't become President just by winning the popular vote. You have to win the Electorial College votes.

Obama loses a lot of important states to McCain.

I'm sorry but what did the pre-primary and pre-elections polls show last year? If i am correct, they showed that Clinton will not only be the democratic primary winner but also the GE winner - the next POTUS. Ummm....where are we today?
