My dh was dying to go but since he works for the government, he couldn't do it from there, so I logged on and was lucky enough to get him credentials and a reserved seat for Saturday's DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting where they decide if or how many delegates to award Florida and Michigan. He's sooooo excited.

Anyone know if the candidates will be there?

I support Hillary Clinton

I haven't heard any mentions that the candidates would be there, if so it may seem like a floor fight on at the convention or in other words it may seem like the convention.
I hope Hillary Clinton gets the nomination.

Woot Hillary

They aren't nominating anyone Saturday, just deciding what to do w/ the Florida & Michigan votes.

Well it on TV if you want to watch it. If anyone should be there it should be those from Florida and Michigan. I'm from Michihigan and would love to tell Granhom and others how dumb they are for just not letting it be in the first place. Whatever happens it still will mean nothing to Clinton she is done and thank God so are the primaries. Even in the posting the switch has happened in this last week most alll the postings are about Obams and McCain.

Looking around for their schedule information it appears Obama will be in SD this weekend, Hillary I dont know.

An article in the NYT, "Florida and Michigan May See Delgates Halved" (I'd link but the login code blocks it), talks about what'll be covered and why, and would have mentioned if Hilary planned to be there.

We're going to drop by and check out the crowd outside. I don't have a seat reserved or anything like that.

I'll be there in spirit.

While giving sincere thanks to a benevolent providence that I am not there in a corporeal sense.
