Unlike some hate-filled folks in here on CD, I actually think Bush and McCain are cool folks, perhaps funny too. However, when it comes to governing and leadership.....i'll just pull an amy winehouse
OP: Do you like McCain leadershiiiip and governiiiing skills?
ME: NO, NO, NO, NO
OP: Would you vote for McCaiiiin?
ME: NO, NO, NO, NO
No, I do not like McCain at all. He is an angry man, and an angry man with power is very dangerous. And is a waffler on important issues, such as border security. Hopefully he will have enough good people around him to "talk him down" out of his rages and fits. Doubt he has the type of spouse to temper him either. At least Michelle keeps strict reign on Obama....
So will do a "write in" and be very, very disgusted....again.
I saw McCain on Charlie Rose or one of the PBS shows before the debates. It was interesting.
He was answering all of the "tough questions". It was obvious that he was speaking from his intellect - not just some canned response - not just the politically correct answer.
I really hope he picks the right running mate.

I have a strong issue with McCain because he was one of the hawks who initiated the ill-advised US policies in the Balkans, which culminated in the "humanitarian" (what a joke!) bombing of Serbia in 1999 and the seizure of Kosovo by the thugs and murderers of the Uçk. He has very strong ties with the Kosovo Albanians, and hates Serbia, for whatever reason.
So although I'm more of a Conservative, I would never vote for him.(My ideal candidate was Ron Paul)
Obama for me is also problematic : I don't understand his program, or even if he has one."Change" is a nice word, it is not a program. I have a problem also with the fact that he is only second generation American, I think it's a bit short (same problem with Schwarzenegger in California).
So it leaves me to the choice of Hillary...I don't like Democrats generally, but I think her campaign wasn't that bad (and Hillary-bashing has gotten out of hand), and I relish the idea of having a woman for Prez!
...The more I think about it, the more I feel Hillary Clinton is the only half-decent candidate left, who has learned of the past mistakes of her husband in the White House.
...But should the **** hit the fan, and the choice in November be between the Plague and the Cholera -I mean anti-West, anti-White Obama or warmonger Juan McCain, I simply WON'T vote.
