I know many people will not support what I'm going to say and to that I say Oh Well. I just want people to look at one areas of what is going to happen if tonight Obama gets the nonination. I';m not asking you to think about his views or that you supported Hillary and why. Tomight if it happens will make history. Obama will be the first African American to get a nomination for president. For me that makes me feel good about where this world has been and were we are going. To all those who fought to make change for Black people and other of different races. I understand when Black people talk about what they feel about this. I get it. I;'m white and like other white people we didn't face what others of different races have had to deal with. We never drank from different drinking fountains, or sat in the back of buses or attend different schools. Many people fought to give someone of color the very right to get where Obama is today and to have the chance to try. To all those who fought that fight both black and white and those like Dr. King who was killed for that fight. Good Work, tonight all those who back Obama both black and while and other races and sexes will stand back and say I'm proud we are here and not standing in front of a sign that says Whites OLNY. Tomorrow we can talk politics.
Thank you mimberly. I too will take a moment tonight to reflect on how far we have come. I appeal to others to do the same.
This is an historic moment for all of America. This is what America stands for.
LOL there is no such thing as a PURE black person. All black people in this country have white ancestors which is why black people are in so many different shades of color.
