The only thing that will play out in November is McCain's age, his warmongering, and the fact that he just signed a bill that says that veterans should only get more benefits if they fight for YET ANOTHER TOUR OF DUTY in Bush's war, and thinks the Iraqi government is more importand than our troops.
Yes, I'm sure that's the ONLY thing that will play out.

I was thinking more along the lines of Obama's associations to terrorists, terrorist-sympathizers, domestic terrorists, America-hating mentors and racists. Oh, and slum-lords who get you great deals on your house.

Or how about McCain's SEEKING OUT, AS A POLITICAL ALLIE, a anti-American, anit-catholic fundamentalist preacher? Or McCain's flip-flopping on a thousand and one issues? Or... the BIG SUPRISE Ron Paul is planning for the convention? He wouldn't be the nominee, but he will go out with a BANG.

Not to mention Bob Barr stealing votes from McCain, as people see him for what he is, i.e., both big-government AND a warmonger, and switch to vote Libertarian.

I really interested in what Ron Paul has up his sleeve. The Press' blackout of him won't fly if it's big on that day, so this could be interesting.

MCCain's record speaks for itself
And that's his big problem. Now he's in the position of having to run against his own record.

And this time around the Democrats are not going to sit around and take it when the Republicans play the race, fear and division cards. The era of the "ignore it and it'll play out" campaign advisor to Ds is OVER.

"The Message is Change"? What a silly theme, makes it look like he has to steal ideas from Obama.

I predict this theme will be quickly discarded. He'd be better off sticking with "Straight Talk Express." I think it's catchy, and makes him look better than trying to latch onto the change theme.

McCain is WELL known to the country as a "maverick", a nickname the media has been happy to point out how often he goes against his party.

That will play well in Nov, as well as his ability to cross the aisle.

I have previously posted examples of Obama working with Republicans. Please, if you can never post facts , at least try to quit posting lies....it makes it look as if you're one of those paid posters.

The Libertarians are going to exert a lot of pressure in this election cycle.

NJ dems just re-elected an 84 year old, semi-popular dem senator -- that's 91 when his term is done! over a 50 yo energetic, popular 16 year congressional challenger whose issue of age concerns backfired mightily with voters.

It'll come down to the definition of real change. McCain is hands down the candidate of real change within Washington -- one who for better or worse marches to his own drummer. Obama is simply a vote for White House party change and a continuation of the democratic party establishment. He is nothing but a liberal Chicago Dem party politician. How he can sell some on being a vote for change is astonishing; it's a vote backward to the failed Dem party liberalism of the short, disastrous Carter admin.

Is Senator Gramm playing the drum? Or Scott McKellen?
