Good question. Putting her on the ticket may help him get some votes, but he would pay the price of having to manage her and Bill if they got elected. I think she would have a problem understanding the "Vice" part of the title. Bill has plenty of vices though so he may be okay.

Choose the VP he wants and make the announcement sooner, rather than later. Let the chips fall where they may. Move on, and act like the nominee.

Ultimately, when the dust settles people will choose to vote for Obama. Even the ones who dislike him... because they'll remember they don't want another republican.

It's not his job to do anything with Hillary, why would it be?

Hillary's people have to talk her down and make her line up her crazy supporters. She wooed them, she won them, they're her responsibility. If she abandons them to wander off to McCain, make racist phone calls, etc., and otherwise generally highlight their true inner beliefs, she's destroyed whatever positive "legacy" she might ever have tried laid claim to.

As I stated in another thread, he won the nomination and ran his campaign fair and square so he can handle this "situation" however the hell he wants. Its hilarious how he is being pressured to nominate her as VP as if the position is rightfully hers. Now I haven't lived long so I don't know, but has any other nominee been pressured to have the loser as VP?

Its like if you and another co-worker were up for a big promotion and you get it fair and square, how would you feel if your boss told you that you had to share that promotion with the co-worker you were up against? Its BS.

Lightbulb How should Obama handle the Hillary “situation”?

Offere her a nomination as Supreme Court justice. It's a position she's very suitable for. I don't think the chemistry is right for an Obama/Clinton ticket.

He should let his search committee come up with the best names and in the mean time he should get started campaigning against McCain. In short, doing what he is doing right now. It is time to put the Hillary story on the back burner she has used up enough political oxygen as it is. The days story isn't about Hillary and it shouldn't be.

I don't want to see Hillary as VP. She's a policy wonk who would prop up his flimsy campaign with real substance. Nope, she's got to work for the issues to which she is committed.

As for the link, Cafferty has such a man-crush on Obama it wouldn't surprise me if a tour of his home revealed a blown-up picture of Obama on the ceiling over his bed. Cafferty is PATHETIC who can't think outside the Obama-box.

How many times does it have to be said here that you have to be a JUDGE with vast JUDICIAL EXPERIENCE to be nominated to the Supreme Court?! You clearly don't "get" the concept of the SC, which I find interesting since you were the one trying to "scare" me about "women's rights" being in jeopardy with McCain.
