If you are seeking morals, then looking towards politics is not the best place to start.
Bear in mind that people who are willing to do anything to achieve the power of office are just as likely to do anything with it once they have it. Then morality joins the realm of relativism and rationalization.

I keep thinking about that young wife and mother waiting and praying for the safe return of her POW husband. I think about her going through the agony of her life changing accident alone, struggling to come to terms with the many things she could no longer do and all the pain alone. I think about her raising their children alone and trying to keep their father alive in their mind. And finally the great joy of him finally coming home...only to have him look at her and only see the physical changes the accident had caused...not the loyal woman who had waited for him and loved him. Imagine the heartbreak of, after waiting alone all those years, he immediately starts running around on her and finally dumps her completely for a young, rich girl. I'm sorry but, in my mind, any man who could do that to his wife and the mother of his children is NOT a man I would ever trust or rely on.

ya know..........Maybe they both changed! Maybe they were so different that they could not be married anymore! Maybe it had nothing to do with her accident. Has anyone seen a pic of her is she disfigured? Someone said that she worked on his campaign.
She got everything when they divorced as well as financial security so he did not do wrong by her that way.
He should not have cheated. But there is not evidence that he has cheated since he has re-married is there????????
So age and maybe not marrying the right person the 1st time around had something to do with it.
We all change as we age one way or another!
If he was running around after he re-married I would have a problem with him now. This was 20+ years ago! Come on people.
Clinton got away with worse than this and not 20 yrs ago either!!!!!!

If this is all anyone has is 28 years old.
He will be a Great President!
It's amazing to me that Clinton was misbehaving in the WH and nobody cared. Not our business they said....
But something that happened 28 years ago is suppose to be important now. Please..
He has obvioulsy changed has Clinton!

He is a decorated war hero and for that I respect him, but is it too much to expect a president who has not had adulterous affairs and who is morally just a decent guy?
I'm sure many will not see my point here, but I think his past behavior says a lot about his character.

LOL! Now that's guilt by association. Isn't that what they say about Obama's association with Wright, Ayers and all the other folks that are low on morality. Neither candidate is worth a crap. Question is which one is more qualified to be president of the two. That I'm sorry to say is McCain.
