Cook County and Illinois politics are so corrupt that no one from that state should be seriously considered for any national office.
As a native Chicagoan, I can totally vouch for the validity of this statement. It's a corrupt "machine," and let me tell you, many people want the current gov of Il out on the street. But that's another story....
Obama's strength is his public speaking skills, his ability to empassion and motivate people based on their feelings, their emotions. This is key. Think about the great speakers in history. Countries have elected great speakers into power who have turned out not to be great leaders. Elloquent and vibrant verbage does not necessitate leadership qualities.
I read in one of the papers that if America votes with its heart, it will vote for Obama. If it votes with its gut, it will vote for McCain. Don't confuse the body organs, people.
I say investiagte and let the chips fall where they may democrat and republican. I don't see taht one side dealing with a crook justifies the other side doing the same. Unless you mean lets hide it for all their sakes.
Obama is either one of the most naive people in the world for not knowing about the nature of the people he has had long term and very close associations with.
Or he is has absolutely terrible judgement for not realizing that having long term and very close associations with these people would cause serious problems for him.
Either way, it should show any sane and rational person that he does not have the right tools to be president of the most powerful country in the world and a nation of 300 million people.
Or 3. He just loved the home; spend eight years watching the Clintons and knew how uncaring/gullible the libs are as long as it's their side that's goring the taxpayer.
