I agree with you on the latter.

what these posters don't seem to realize is that to 90% of people, the election just began. most people don't care. the casual voter isn't going to vote for obama.

I tend to agree with you. I think Hillary would have been more electable.

Do you have some evidence of that? Because he seems to be pretty popular here according to the local news

the south never goes to Dems anyway so thats moot. Obama will carry the traditionally democratic states. If he carries a couple swing states like PA and Ohio, its a done deal.

Let the south hate him

Furthermore, you fail to acknowledge the massive numbers of first time black voters that will be filling voting booths throughout the south (and the rest of the country). I live in a predominantly black neighborhood, and at the caucus there were about 600 people that showed up. The volunteer said last caucus had about 20-30 people.

I just don't think he will carry PA. I could be wrong.

They stand in stark contrast.

Maybe you aren't aware of the tone of your posts and your incessant Obama-bashing.

You aren't upset that the coming tax increases will be to pay back China for money that Bush borrowed and has already spent? And what do we have to show for all that spending? Where did this record amount of spending go? Where are the new highways, new schools, expanded airports offering better, safer service?

These things upset me.

Obama's candidacy doesn't.

Mine, too. It's hard for me to grasp how 23% of the American public can still support Bush at this point. His approval should really be in the low single digits. Lots of people just don't pay attention.

I understand that Obama has a big challenge ahead of him. He's already knocked over one huge callenge, though. Let's check back in November on your prediction of him losing badly. I predict he'll win narrowly.

Plain and simple.......
The question is... different in a good way or different in a bad way?

the local news doesn't point out that 10% of people vote in primaries. I know a lot of democrats here in the south that won't vote for him. sadly, for the wrong reasons.
