A history making election, a controversial president in his last half of his last year, and alot of angry sore loosers who may vote for the other candidate out of spite....... here are three questions that sum up the next 6 months.
  • After all is said an done on that first Tuesday in November, who do you honestly believe will be our next president?
  • No matter who wins, will our country be more divided or more united ?
  • And (just asking) if there was one thing you could ask or say to still president Bush right now, face to face, what would it be?

Currently the American people think Obama will be our next president.

McCain by the skin of his yellow teeth. In either case, it will be very close.

  • No matter who wins, will our country be more divided or more united ?

It will make no difference, they are two heads of the same monster with one body.

  • And (just asking) if there was one thing you could ask or say to still president Bush right now, face to face, what would it be?

Why were you selfish as to mislead a significant portion of the population with this populist rhetoric about "ownership" society, gravely impairing the dollar's function as a unit of account and store of value in the process, instead of inviting everyone to invest, even if one share, in the oil companies that have profited from the run up in energy prices?

That would have been the real ownership society, instead of saddling people and banks with overpriced, energy-inefficient housing, and more people would be wishing to kiss your butt now instead of cursing your memory, you greedy bastid.

Well, at least you lowered taxes, giving those relatively few little people who at least know how to read some of the tea leaves a fighting chance to offset some of the hyperinflation in the key segments of food, energy, and housing - by the way, not counted in official "core" inflation (and the latter now is a state of utter confusion).

Right now, too close to call. I think a lot will ride on if there is a terrorist attack on the US prior to Nov --- then Mccain would win. Otherwise, Obama will.

As long as people are still so wedded to the party and not the country, then yes.
  • And (just asking) if there was one thing you could ask or say to still president Bush right now, face to face, what would it be?
Why would you fight a two pronged war? Have you learned nothing from history? We should have stayed soley in Afganistan, stabilized it and rebuilt it. Good things had the potential to come from there. How many Afganis died because they wanted to believe that we were committed? But then to divert resources to Iraq? Explain how that could possibly make sense.

I do think the country will be more united.

The question I would ask Mr. Bush is
Who would you recommend for Vice President for the current presidential nominees.

The answer hopefully would provide insight into wether he regrets his choice.

Why did you pick Harriett Myers for the Supreme Court? When the GOP was getting hammered on the war your choice was a Grade A embarrassment. Who assisted you in nominating Myers, your staff attorney? Was it like Cheney nominating himself to be vice president?

Another question: why, President Bush, did you not support immigration reform?

Barack Obama

Not at first, I think the sting will be around for awhile, I would give it about 6 months before tempers start to fade.

Mr. Bush, don't you really wish that you were Baseball Commissioner instead of President and who do you blame for forcing you into a job that you never wanted and that you were clearly not suited for?
There are of course many questions that I would like to have the answers to, but a man like GW is not the type of person who is able to give honest answers because I don't think he really examines things that closely. So asking him a question that requires any kind of introspection would be a waste.

I think McCain will probably be the one! The country will be no more or less divided, it is what it is! I would ask the president, " If you could do it all over again, would you still be as amiable and soft or would you have been tougher!"

  1. Obama, as the first president not to win the popular vote.
  2. More divided.
  3. Thank you.
