No one's rights are being taken away by gay people marrying each other.
Clearly you did not understand the post. I did not say that gay marriage was taking away anyone's rights; I said, in essence, that the issue of gay marriage is tangential to the problem of courts overriding the wishes of the public.
Such as Brown v. Board of Education? The courts don't rule according to popular opinion.
I understand that. Do you understand that when an issue has been put to a popular vote, and I am referring to ANY ISSUE, not only gay marriage, the results of the voting process should be respected? The outcome of Brown vs. Board of Education was that the Supreme Court reversed its own 1896 Plessy vs. Ferguson "separate but equal" decision. The difference here is that the court reversed its own decision, not the decision of the voters.
these are red herrings. if we were looking for evil the churches are the last places we need to look not the first. we can live with gay marriage, but not a prolonged war we are going broke.
i would vote for a martian if he would stop the war.
As a gay man here, I can tell you the Obama's are spewing a bunch of BS. They are not for gays at all. They only see the votes that gays have.....use us and drop us.
Remember during the primaries, Obama had a pro gay person who was to speak at one of his South Carolina rallies, then suddenly one of Obama's preacher friends had an issue with it, and Obama canceled the pro-gay speaker.
That really says he is pro-gay to me (sarcasm).
Obama is one big liar and one big user.
This is an interesting point. From what I can surmise the TUCC welcomed gays into their community. And I believe Black Liberation Theology also. But is interesting to see Farrakhan's (TUCC sympathizer and buddy?) take on it: "homosexuality is a white problem", and is not at all tolerated in Islam.

I mentioned Brown as an example of an unpopular court decision. Your current post:

? No, popular opinion/votes should not be taken into consideration by the courts.
Other: Another biased poll. At least you put an "other" option on this time.
