Michelle Obama: Obama will fight for gay marriage and anti-free speech in re homosexuality.

That is not how the Obama camp has sugar coated the whole thing. They are saying Obama will fight for "gay equality" and end their suffering.

But in the end, it will mean two things:

1. Nationalize gay marriage. Override the will of voters and force gay marriage.

2. Appoint judges who will create laws allowing gay marriage and overturning the will of voters. Examples: Mass-a-Chew-Sits and California judges have over-rulled the rights of voter and JUDGES, NOT ELECTED OFFICIALS OR THE PEOPLE create gay marriage in these states.

3. Pass federal legislation making it a CRIME to say inside a church that homosexuality is a sin. Nancy Pelosi tried that, with her sugar coated, "Anti-Hate Crimes" bill, which Bush vetoed.

Here is the highly liberal and very pro-Obama article, from Yahoo news: Obama's wife says he'll fight for gay equality - Yahoo! News (broken link)

Isn't it nicely packaged? Sounds wonderful.... equality.... wonderful terms and loving support for the Obama plan to override the rights of the people.

Liberal judges need to be removed, they are making laws and not following them.
Dems whine all the time about their vote, but then in this case they allow a stupid judge to overturn the peoples vote. (ex: California )
Gosh, we need to do something about liberalism and it negative impact on our country.

No 3. The Obamas have no right to even go there with this stuff. Afterall they sit and allowed hate crimes to be committed in their own church for 20 years and did nothing.

"'The world as it is should be one that rejects discrimination of all kinds,' she said."

What a wild-eyed radical idea. THEY MUST BE STOPPED!!!

It is rejected by the majority because it is seen as a slippery slope. When will the discrimination of polygamy, pornography, pedophilia, incest and bestiality be overturned?

Well, those things are all against the law, except the pornography, and I dont think it's legal to marry a magazine, either.

The problem I have with this issue is this: If a court can overturn the opinion of the people (as voted on, not some straw poll) in this case, it can overturn the people's opinions on anything. Right or wrong, those opinions have been made clear. When we decide that certain opinions aren't valid, and that the court should at its own discretion overrule decisions already made not by it or another court, but by popular vote, we're setting a dangerous precedent. Doing so might favor gay marriage this time; next time we might take away the rights of another group. Hard to tell.

It's easy to claim that seeing this as a dangerous precedent is "hate", and in some cases it may be, but the fact remains that this has the potential to chip away at the rights of the voting public to have their decisions honored.

No one's rights are being taken away by gay people marrying each other.

As a gay man here, I can tell you the Obama's are spewing a bunch of BS. They are not for gays at all. They only see the votes that gays have.....use us and drop us.

Remember during the primaries, Obama had a pro gay person who was to speak at one of his South Carolina rallies, then suddenly one of Obama's preacher friends had an issue with it, and Obama canceled the pro-gay speaker.
That really says he is pro-gay to me (sarcasm).

Obama is one big liar and one big user.
