Looks like traitorous Joe Lieberman isn't doing his buddy John McCain much good in Connecticut if a new Quinnipiac poll is to be believed. McCain is losing in every category, most notably among independents 52%-36%, a former strength of Lieberman. In fact the people of Connecticut's opinion of Lieberman has fallen so far that he actually appears to be hurting McCain in the state:

Quote:
If McCain picks Sen. Joseph Lieberman as his running mate, only 14 percent of Connecticut voters say they are more likely to vote Republican, while 32 percent are less likely.

Gee, I guess Romney's VP selection wouldn't ensure Mass for McCain either...

It might be a liberal state, but one might think Lieberman's embrace of McCain's candidacy would help the Republican just a little. Instead it appears to actually be making things worse. This and a poll of a couple days ago showing Lieberman's approval rating in Connecticut at a 14 year low is very telling.

Like Edwards helped Kerry in North Carolina?

No, because Obama has already brainwashed the idiots of Massachusetts.

its funny how the states containing those "brainwashed masses" that vote Democrat are pretty much the nicest ones in the country, whereas most of the red states are the dirt farm backwoods areas that you would reside in if you had no taste or were just stupid.

perhaps you should see which states have the most threads here in city-data. north carolina has like 10 times as much as any other state. why? people are moving here from the north. I would say that there are nice states in the north once you get above mass. vermont is backwards thinking, but it is a nice state. taxes are embarrassing, but other than that it's nice. VA is a consistently red state, and is a beautiful state, but I am sure that if you live in a bubble, you just make blanket statements and expect people to take them seriously.
