This is just another reason people fear the republicans getting back in office. Its pathetic, has not Cheney administration done enough damage to our country our republican party.
McCain republicans will pay the price for this guy.

White House Lobbyist Reportedly Offered to Trade Access to Top Administration Officials for Cash Donations

A lobbyist with close ties to the White House reportedly was captured on undercover video offering access to key Bush administration figures — including Dick Cheney and Condoleezza Rice — in return for large donations to a library commemorating the Bush presidency.

It is also interesting fox news obtained this story from the NY times I wonder why Fox "News" was unable to get this story on their own.

The Sunday Times of London is not the NY Times. Reading is hard.

McCain is not the President. This should be presented to Bush, not McCain. Republicans are already taking heat from Bush. This won't even cause a blip. When you can wipe your butt with the Constitution and not only demand, but get the Democrats to pass unconstitutional laws to help you in your assault of the Constitution, a little bribery is chump change.

You can't believe anything coming out of Faux News anyway. It is the right wing news agency lap dog of the Republican Party. They claim to be fair and balanced when in actuality they just are a Republican new agency watching out for thr Republican Party and the President. There is not a person on Faux News with any credibility. Geez you people are dumb. BTW this was a faux post.

Default The Political Lobbyist

He haunts the halls of Congress where he is a figure more familiar even than most of its honorable members. He is a commanding presence; he is clean-shaven, his hair carefully combed, his manicure impeccable. He is distinguished by his hand-tailored suit, his highly polished shoes, and his heavy briefcase. He greets all with the broad smile and firm handshake that bespeak solid backing. He is a mover and a shaker. He knows it costs money to peddle influence, and he knows how to spread it around. He counsels in the circles of power; and when he speaks, senators and congressmen listen. He is an institution.

....and he/she will be around until the end of time. Where there is power, there is money. Where there is money, there is corruption.

Try to stay focused, this was a Fox news story that criticzed the Republican party, what exactly is your complaint with it again?

This is nothing new, its been going on since I believe Reagan, and every administration, including Clinton used this as a way of raising funds.

But with Clinton you got to spend the night in The Lincoln bedroom!
