Do you ever read the posts before you post or do you just randomly go into threads and post things? Who said we weren't laughing?

My daughter exchanges emails with a sweet, nice little old lady (a customer) who sends her all those very ones - the mass forwarded hate emails. She's being kind, trying to warn and protect my daughter

There are a lot of people who are caught up on the hype. One of the girls on my job likes to get her information from the water cooler and she asked me how I could vote for Obama knowing how he felt about disabled children. I was like what, thinking there was something I missed and she said that she read – although she never would tell me where she read this – that Obama says if a child is born mentally disabled they should poke scissors in the back of their heads and put them on a shelf to die.
Are you kidding me? I don’t know what was worse the fact that she actually believed that or the fact that’s she repeated it like it was factual information. There are those who choose to be ignorantly uniformed on all sides.

WHAT did you say to her?!
If you didnt say anything, I understand. What is there to say? You explain and show them and they look at you and say " You drink Kool-Aid."

It's entertaining to read Proud's fear of a middle name.
How weak can one be to be afraid of a name like that?
He must run in fear anytime he meets someone named "Tim" too....

Evidently there are many that are not happy about this cover.

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton called it "tasteless and offensive" and, according to Jake Tapper at ABC, another high-profile Obama supporter called it "as offensive a caricature as any magazine could publish."

But I’m sure I’m going to be the only black person who feels this way. The rest of the blacks will be all upset that they actually drew Michelle with nappy hair.

Speaking as a "cracker", I like nappy hair, it has character and personality! I especially likes the nappy hair on that Black detective woman of the 70's TV shows, she had great nappy hair! And speaking as a bald "whitebread", I wish I had some nappy hair, no problem!
