....no media coverage. Last Saturday (July 12) 20,000 people showed up for a rally in D.C.. The entire thing is being uploaded today at www.ronpaulforpresident2008 (broken link). The first 5 of twelve films are already uploaded and they include a speech by Congressman Paul. So you can see for yourself.
Evidently on Sept 2, since Congressman Paul was not invited to the Republican Convention, he and his Campaign for Liberty www.campaignforliberty.com are planning a convention that will also be in Minneapolis running at the same time the Republican convention will be running and the media will be there. It promises to be a LOT MORE INTERESTING than the Republican convention, that's for sure.
Additionally, there is evidently still some question as to whether McCain is eligible to be elected President due to the fact that he was not born in the U.S.A. and the question of whether his parents were citizens is still a concern according to an article in a recent edition of the "Washington Times"
Suprised to read that Kent Snyder, a main driver behind Ron Paul's campaign, recently died of viral pneumonia. I know he was still relatively young, only about 50 or so.
Though not a Paul supporter, this is a terrible loss. I liked his feisty and tenacious approach to political discussions, he added a lot to the dialog.
Yup and most of the neocon and liberal democrats too.
They signed the patriot act and many other unconstitional programs on domestic and foreign policy.

For those who can afford to help, there is a fund set up for his family. They had $400,000 in medical expenses that they are now trying to pay off due to his pneumonia.
I donated a little bit, and they have close to $30,000 now. You can donate up until 7/17, please do so if you have the ability.
