I believe Bush's narrow mindedness and failure to appoint advisers who dare nothing but to parrot his own views has been the greatest failure of this administration.
An interesting thesis. The future will hold many interesting revelations, that's for sure. And Mr. Bush is relatively young and vigorous, with a long lie ahead of him, if genetics is any guide.

I see a sort of Duke of Windsor redux....

Obama wants out of Iraq... today. Who knows about tomorrow.

McCain isn't starting a war with Iran. For all the people complaining about voting on "fear," I find those who think we're going to invade Iran to be amongst the most "fearful," but without need to be so.

Let's say it together: WE WILL NOT BE INVADING IRAN. With what army will we go to war? With what equipment? To what consequence for the economy?

McCain isn't going to steal your uterus, or send baby Alex to war. He will, however, be a commander in chief that will conduct the war with the care and attention that a father with sons fighting that same war will be expected to do.

Need a little pratice on your readin comprehension skills, do ya?
Because he is black. Pathetic. But hey, you know what....Obamatrons can't whine when people support McCain because he is white. (I'm no McCain supporter. Hillary for me.)

Where is the unity Obama preached when he started campaign? Another big Obama lie.

Fear of war with Iran is rational--even if there is only a small chance of it happening.

Voting for McCain means endorsing the idea of American militarism in general. We do not need to be at war. We need to reconsider our foreign policy priorities so we are no longer backed into a corner, in which war is the only option. I'm not sure Obama is up to doing that, but McCain evidently sees no reason to try.

A much greater fear is that the much championed 'democracy' in Iraq gives us the boot and forms an alliance with Iran, a FAR greater threat than Saddam EVER presented to the US, and of our own making at great cost of blood and $$$.

Well, that would just be the icing on the cake. I'm sure all the drooling flag-wavers would take no responsibility for it. "How were we supposed to know that would happen?" will be their pathetic whine.

Anyone who votes for Obama is either addicted to Kool-Aid, is dumb, or truly hates the USA. Oh yeah, or has a guilty conscience because 200 years ago, there was slavery in America.

In a time of economic slowdown, the LAST THING America needs is to raise taxes, discourage investments in the USA, and implement welfare programs the United States cannot afford.

lol well said but I think in time we will wish it was "only" a trillion dollars not to mention the potential problems that might be coming due to being to having gone there at all .

I dont know if we would have ever been able to kill Osama and known we did but Iraq was a monster of a mistake

The most prevalent Kool-Aid addicts, and you're a shining example, are uptighty-righties who for lack of anything constructive AND factual to say resort to inane Kool-Aid remarks for reaons known only in their imaginations.

WHAT a load of CRAP to say somebody hates the USA because of who they vote for!

I guess we can expect you to start up the "America, Love It ot Leave It" chant any minute now

So you'd propose continuing on the path that led to the economic slowdown in the first place? You do realize that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results?
