Default Quinnipiac University National poll lead grows

Yes it's a national poll not the all important state by state

Obama has moved up some overall
with help from independents switching to him

I find the age and race findings the most interesting;
20% thought McCain was to old
14% will not vote for a black man

There is obviously a bias against the old and to a lessor degree against blacks.

For McCain 20% is a lot of voters are they more republicans or democrats or independents?
For Obama 14% is a lot of voters, are they more republicans or democrats or independents?
National poll gives Obama an edge - 2008 Presidential Campaign Blog - Political Intelligence - Boston.com

Men-

White
McCain 49% Obama 42%
Obama well ahead with women, blacks and young

86% Ok with race
64%- OK with a 72 year old president 20% Not
