The author seems to be unaware that many Swahili words and names are of Arabic origin (just as many English words originated with other languages). "Barack" is a Swahili name that entered the language via historical trade and cultural ties with Arabia.

But first, Obama did not support the missile defense system. This is another one of his flip flop issues.

For the General Election, Obama has moved more to the center of politics. He can not use his extreme LEFTIST ideals with the general population.

But we all know the real Barack Hussein Obama.

While McCain is far from perfect we had better get our heads
out of the sand & wake up! The only thing I do NOT like about McCain
is his SEEMINGLY PRO ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION STAND!

THIS COUNTRY DOES NOT NEED ANYMORE LAWBREAKERS!
WE HAVE ENOUGH IN OUR COUNTRY & POLITICAL SYSTEM ALREADY!

OBAMA is A DECEIVING, LYING, PHONEY, RADICAL RACIST TERROIST!
HE IS DOUBLED MINDED & UNSTABLE~IN ALL HIS WAYS!

Has any proof been issued in this thread that Obama wants ..""to unilaterally disarm America""

No, I didn't think so....it's the repub "Lie, Lie, Lie, until some knuckleheads believe it to be true" philosophy.

proudcapmarine posts , """For the General Election, Obama has moved more to the center of politics. He can not use his extreme LEFTIST ideals with the general population.

So, if he can't use his "extreme leftist views" with the general population then what are you so afraid of?

W H O is the "we" you refer to? How do YOU know how "we" feel? Who made YOU spokesperson for "we"...???

WHO is the "real" Obama...can you explain that?

Or will these questions go unanswered by the "brave" righties like my question asking what would Obama do in office I F he WAS a Muslim....

no answer THERE from the "brave " righties???!!!!!

I guess progressive would be taxation to the point of crippling submission? isn't that why we fought the revolutionary war? it seems to me that before any candidate talks about raising taxes, they should show us that they can manage what we give them.

Foreign Policy In Focus | Dems: What about the Military Budget?
Not only have the major presidential candidates been largely silent on these record expenditures, but they want to increase them. Barack Obama has said we will probably need to "bump up" the military budget in a new administration, and both he and Hillary Clinton have committed themselves to increasing the size of the armed forces by tens of thousands of troops. On the Republican side of the aisle, John McCain and Mike Huckabee are looking to spend even more than their Democratic counterparts.

I don't understand why people like Obama so much. He has been a state senator for two years most of which he has spent campaigning. People heard the buzword change and think that everything will magically become better, you know change can be worse right? Also he just wants to pull our troops out of Iraq, while that is what the vast majority of Americans want that is not how war works. If we do that Iraq's economy will collapse even more so and we will have to deal with angry muslims. As for Barack Hussien Obama being muslim I don't really care. He could jewish, christian, or buddhist I still would not vote for him.

What will disarm America is a Democratic President AND a Democratic House.

God Forbid this happens...vote against your democratic incumbant in November!
