In honor Of Obama and his "Agent of Change Message" the DNC is offering tickets to homless for vists to the zoo.

they want to sweep the homless under the bridge, because, hey, Obama
is in town and he can not be embarrased by the reality of folks living on the streets.

In the "real" world, you are correct; however, does the "real" world exist in election years? If so, it's very, very cloudy, foggy, hard to discern real from connived.
I would hazard a guess a homeless person has as much right to vote as anyone else. Not all homeless are poor, not all poor are homeless, except in the politicians' eyes.
I'm wondering how a homeless person would register to vote...I had to show proof of residency to get my card? Anyone else know?

My experience dealing with a homeless shelter and daytime feeding station indicated that approximately 1/3 of the folks there were alcoholics or drug addicts, 1/3 mentally ill, and 1/3 simply down and out. The latter group tended to eventually move on with their lives. Most of the other 2/3 were essentially "lifers".

Then you should be able to provide a link, stating the the DNC are the ones doing this, not that it is being done by city officials. If anything, it's DENVER wanting to hide the homeless, not the DNC.

that's because the DNC is not behind this. I just saw the report on CNN and this was a plan put together by the Denver Police Dept. and a local homeless shelter to give the homeless options instead of doing a police sweep like many cities have done in the past. Obama and his campaign have nothing to do with this! The hate for Obama on City Data is amazing!
