These are two very powerful videos about senator Barrack Obama. Even if you don't like him or are not voting for him. There is a powerful message in them that you can't deny. All obama supporter's have to email his campaign and tell them. At the democratic convention coming up in august. He has to be introduce to this song. The song is by the legendary soul singer sam cooke. Who was shot and killed at a young age of 33. The song is called a change is gonna come. This song was used alot in the civil rights movement in the 1960's. The convention will already be a historic event. With it being on the anniversary of MLK's I have a dream speech. This will alot help with the excitement.

Perhaps you'd be happier with a tribute to Methuselah. They could play it at the Republican convention.

Joeyrun-- Thank you for the video. It is very nice and inspirational.

You seem to be new to this forum. Your enthusiasm for a candidate will get you branded as a bot/tron/messiah worshipper here. Just to let you know, this is caused by jealousy. Just let it roll of of your back, and continue the positive postings. This is what gets to the haters the most.

Welcome.

You know, Ageism IS a problem that so-called "progressives" should and usually are, concerned about just as much as racism/sexism/homophobia, etc.

Please practice progressivism properly.

Thanks!

Actually, ageism is one "-ism" that is still quite acceptable among the young progressives. I would say from my experience working with adolescents and young 20s, it even borders on disgust and hostility toward older people. To say nothing of a general lack of basic respect for elders.

I have a deep respect for my elders...ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS.......I just don't think a 70 year old should be president especially THIS particular one.

The problem the "ageist" people have with McCain is less about prejudice and more about him dying.

Which is why Mitt Romney will be his runningmate.

If McCain chooses Romney or Jindal as VP, I will vote for him, well NOT for him but for the VP nominee.
