I don't believe in God, and I don't want someone who is going to govern based on God in the White House.

I think that a vote for ANY third party candidate is a good vote because it raises public awareness that there don't have to be only two viable options for them. I bet most of the people who complain that the dems and repubs both don't match their opinions really take the time to look at the positions of the third party candidates. Once the "lesser" candidates get substantial numbers of votes, the media will hopefully pay more attention to them, and maybe they'll even be invited to debates. Although with the obvious bias in the primary debates towards the "mainstream" candidates within the dem and repub parties, equal representation of candidates will be a long time coming (if ever).

Default Isn’t the lesser of 2-evils still evil?

Here's why...Think about it!
I recently sent a good friend some information about 3rd party presidential candidates. This friend, who happens to be a staunch Republican, responded by saying it was “very thought provoking”, and he “kind of liked these guys”. Then he surprised me; he said he “would not throw away his vote for someone that does not have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the election.” He went on to say that he’d “rather vote for the lesser of 2-evils”.

Isn’t the lesser of 2-evils still evil?
Unfortunately, I think a lot of smart, well-intentioned and patriotic Americans share my friend’s misdirected rationale. I also think a lot of Americans are fed up with our government as a whole, concerned about the current state of affairs, and even more concerned about where our elected government officials may lead us next.

Change doesn’t happen by itself!
For me, I believe change begins this election season by voting for what I believe, not the lesser of two evils. As long as the two major parties control the vast majority of votes, they will control mainstream media, the debates, and the electoral process so as to exclude effective 3rd party representation.

I have made it my goal this year to educate myself!
***I STOPPED relying on the local news, FoxNews, CNN, MSNBC, talk radio, etc.
***I STOPPED relying on information in emails, even ones that came from friends and family.
***I STOPPED relying on the endorsements from politicians, main stream media, celebrities, and corporate leaders.

I STOPPED trusting and I STARTED investigating!

Much of what we are led to believe is “truth” is really based on false statistics, sensationalized news stories, political propaganda, and fabricated “truths”.

I vow to be a voter of integrity this election!
Past voting records, empty words, corporate affiliations, indecision on issues, unbalanced budgets, unnecessary regulation, entangling alliances with other nations, and outright declarations of so many unconstitutional positions proves to me that a candidate is NOT worthy of my support.

***I will cast a vote only for a candidate, who if they received the office, would not only swear to uphold the Constitution, but one that I also believe would actually do it.
***I will cast my vote as if it will determine who will be in that office.

As a voter of integrity, my candidate may not win this time, but neither will I have again been part of giving the lesser of 2-evils a mandate the people.

Think about it!
If this made you think, perhaps you will do more than just think of forwarding to others, so they can begin to think about it too.

Sincerely,
Mark T
A voter of integrity!

On second thought--maybe God made a mistake when he created ungrateful people.

I have never voted for a 'major' party candidate. I have been a staunch supporter of the Libertarian Party both nationally and locally.

I cannot with clear conscious vote for Bob Barr. He is not a libertarian and the party has sold out just to gain a 2 maybe 3% vote this year. If would have much rather seen a ticket with Ruwart or Gravel, or in the best case Ron Paul.

I have not found any third party candidate worth voting for this cycle unfortunately.

I am voting for Chuck Baldwin..

Here is why...
He is the only one who never voted to downsize our country with Nafta , Gatt, ect..
He has never endorsed the Patriot Act (bob barr did)
He is and has been in favor of freeing the border agents that were defending our country!
He has stated that he would free them as soon as he is in office!
He is the only candidate that has dealt with the issue of bringing our jobs back and making America the great country that it has been prior to nafta.

He is the only candidate that will not seek to let only the criminals have their hands on guns.

He is the only candidate that has an AAA rating by the free law abiding citizens of gun owners of america!!!!!!!!!!

There is no doubt !!!!

Chuck Baldwin for President in 2008!!!!!!

Besides that what else is there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please people!!!!
Vote your conscience!!!!!!!

I haven't voted for a major party candidate in a federal election since I voted for Gerald Ford. My plans are to vote Libertarian again this year but may hit the button for McCain/Palin. Others will definitely be... well, other.

I'd consider Chuck Baldwin if the above poster had provided some easy links. Not sure bold type convinces me to do research.
