I don't know how people can say that we've won in Iraq. McCain acts like the war is over. 57 people died today in Iraq!!! And car bombs and suicide bombs are a daily occurence there. Republicans must not read the ap or reteurs wire.

And McCain was 100% dead right with it.

He should claim credit for it, he was the one who got it right the first time !!

President McCain will be a great Commander!
Name the goals of the surge.

The Karl Rove technique is to say it until it is true. They repeat it over and over, regardless of fact. Yes violence is down, but that was not the primary goal of the surge.

Changing the goal posts can always make you right, especially if your audience is lazy.

Give her a moment while she googles the definition of 'surge', and then makes her way to what the surge is.

I'd guess her list would look something like this:

1) Obama hates America

2) Identify Obama's possible basketball injury-obviously the sign of a weak leader

3) Repost Obama emails named "Lies"

4) Boo!

5) Obama likes his eggs Sunni side up-can you trust this man?

6) Obama's terrorist fist jab-what does it mean for America?

7) Purple fingers and you-How purple fingers brought the Middle East together

8) Obama really hates America

Something like that maybe?

War is terrible and we need to end these wars as soon as possible. If Obama is shifting his stance and now says we will not pull troops out of Iraq right away doesn't it make sense to put in a qualified commander in chief who understands the military in the white house while we are still at war? Wouldn't that be a better way to honor the troops who have died for this cause than to go a route that says their lives meant nothing?

When has Obama said he won't pull out the troops right away???

He is going to make a responsible withdrawl starting almost immediately after he takes office and it will take approx 16 months give or take. Make no mistake about it. Obama is going to end the war. McCain will only escalate it and probably start a few new ones too: Iran?

I understand, but how are those fallen troops lives honored? didn't their lives mean anything? Now it's admirable to their sacrifices to elect a president that says they lost their lives for nothing?

Obviously they don't mean much as Taliban has been incorporated back into the Afghanistan government with a green light from our administration.

Talk about a big F you to the fallen soldiers.
