There are plenty of socialist countries in which to live...help yourself. However, for those of us that choose to take the time and effort to improve our life, achieve our dreams and plan and carry out our goals, please do not expect me to want to join you.

Show me someone who wants a socialist society and I will show you a non productive person...someone that is looking for a free ride...these days known as a welfare mamma/daddy.

It is so refreshing to see people of the world start to put some faith in our government again expecially after the past eight years of fiascos. We wasted thousands of lives and billions of dollars only to find out that the Europeans were correct from the get-go: Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. And in turn, the war has led to a very weak economy and loss of faith. Vote Obama to get us back on the right track.

Do you understand Obama is for stealing from us and give it to losers???

He would love to reward the losers of the world.
How old are you?

Do you even grasp basic political thought and policies? Do you understand anything beyond a second grade level. Seriously do you?

Actually, I do mix kool-aid with lemonaide and drink it.

I guess what I meant is that I was starting to be very impressed with his charisma and ability to handle himself when justifying his positions- even though he has had a few major flip-flops recently (but even McCain has the same). Let's face it, Obama is smooth, handsome, self confidant, inspirational. However, none of those attributes make a president. It what a president actually does- and I think I had lost sight of that.

Remember his lie, he said that he will stop American money from leaving America and he is already pitching a global economy which will HURT AMERICA and send our money elsewhere.

So much for being honest and truthful.

Reward losers????....how about McCain ...he says he'll DOUBLE tax credits for children!!! If you need that kind of money you shouldn't have had kids in the first place ...but I'm sure sunshinechick will love helping you out with her taxes

I suppose you're talking about places with huge social entitlement programs paid for by taxes, such as Denmark or Sweden. Why on earth would you think people in Denmark and Sweden dont reach their goals, improve their lives, achieve their dreams? It's really not true that you can't be happy, mustn't dare be happy or proud of yourself until you've purchased more material goods than the next guy, especially if some of those other guys have to be held down in order for you to do so. We're just trained to believe this.

What you describe isn't a "socialist society," it's a direct product of capitalism. Real "socialist societies" arent the way you imagine.

This statement is filled with ill-thought out logic. Too bad you're from San Antonio..
