This is good news, nice to know we can look forward to having a president that actually cares about civil rights. Another reason to vote for Obama.
Barack Obama told House Democrats on Tuesday that as president he would order his attorney general to scour White House executive orders and expunge any that "trample on liberty," several lawmakers said.
Here's a list of the executive orders issued by Bush. As you can see it's quite extensive.

Obama doesn't give a rats ass about civil rights for everybody.....only select groups.
He thinks gays should not be allowed to marry because of his religious beliefs. How is that civil rights / equal rights?
What if some religion believed black people should sit in the back of the bus. Would that be OK?

Hmm...can't wait to see what the purists of the Libertarian party think of this. Will they view it as a negative or take heed that someone just might be paying attention to them, on his way to the White House?

I bet they're thinking that any Democratic (note the capital D) changes of the Bush orders will be a positive. Social liberalism and all that.

I'll believe it when I see it.
If that actually does happen, then dare I say he'd be the first President since I can even remember when that is not a power hungry wanna be dictator that actually cares about upholding the Constitution and the civil rights of every single American.
I'd really like to believe this, but the cynic in me can't help but wonder if he is just blowing hot air to appease more people who have finally realized just how much damage the entire Bush Admin has caused to Americans' civil liberties.

Too bad he can't review all past executive orders. That is one of the most abused priviledges ever used, by all Presidents.
