Default You sure can't fix STOOPID

If McCain changes his position (and he did, just as Bush and Crist have) on offshore drilling it's "facing the reality of our energy crisis".

If Obama decides to compromise (something we have so little of inside the beltway) in order to move forward, then he is labeled a "flip flopper".

You crybabies can't have it both ways.

Anybody care to meet in the middle, or should be simply follow the inane NeoCon parrots off a cliff and drag America with it?

Less consumption equals less demand.

Less demand lowers oil prices significantly.

Keeping your tires underinflated creates a drag on the car and lowers MPG. We are already leaning towards more fuel efficient vehicles in this country (SUV plants shutting down to make room for Prius production), why not work with our current vehicles in the meantime?

Shrub already admitted our addiction to oil, and all I hear are the right wing blowhards cheerleading for drilling in order to break free of the our middle east ball-n-chain. So why do they seem to despise taking some personal responsibility when it comes to conservation? Too lazy? Too arrogant? Want somebody else to do it for them? Zero personal accountability? Doesn't sound very conservative to me.

As you well know the answer is demand destruction. Drilling will not result in lower prices because lower prices mean it is not profitable for massive new drilling. People are being played and if they would just read professional journals.
