What are you, some kind of Obama supporter?

Anyways... my favorite activities and interests include swimming holes with rope swings, cheap hole in the wall family restaurants, taking road trips, camping, working for a non-profit organization, urban planning, riding my bike, rowing (a rowing scull), taking long walks at night, unwinding with my neighbors on the front porch, and of course CDF.

LOL... No matter how fun it can be to poke fun at someone who begs for it, something in me really feels it important to try to draw people who isolate themselves so much from others back in, for their own safety and for ours.

Reminds me of a favorite quote, one I hade to really mull over:

"I love you too much to let you disrespect yourself by disrespecting me."

I too like working for non-profits, most recently volunteered for a regional AIDS program, I love hole in the wall restaurants, our favorite is Sam Wo's on Washington Street in SF, could spend the rest of my life camping, hope to take up bike riding after our move this week, am an avid photographer, and wouldn't you know it I just love writing but probably because it's a way to hear myself talking

I've got a lot in common with most of you. I communicate with some of you--yes even the loyal opposition--via PM.

Walidm lives in this area and is a real estate broker. I own real estate currently for sale in Matthews, NC, Indian Trail, NC and South Charlote-Pineville. I know a lot of real estate people. I might know him!

Like norcalmom101 I enjoy cooking. My wife and I just completed a gormet cooking school-great fun!

Dead Horse and I unfortunately and sadly have something in common that will always haunt me. A failure on my part to notice symptoms of an equine disease 10 years ago led to the loss of three very fine show horses in my stable. I was so devastated by this I sold the one remaining animal and had the barn bulldozed.

I enjoy jmarquise's wit. Like him, I enjoy plunging the garrote in to the hilt and twisting it when someone responds with knee jerk stupidity!
