Show me your examples -- any example of Barry crossing party lines to vote on anything in his career. He has always been in lock step with the liberal democratic leadership.

McCain got the name maverick for very good reasons.

They all compromise and end up voting for bills they aren't 100% in agreement with. . . it comes with the territory. Unless your Barry and give one of his infamous and tiresome "present" votes.

Senator McCain did not like the GI Bill, though at one time he supported it. Senator Obama was willing to compromise to pass important legislation. Senator McCain did not show, and did not vote.

Once again on an important issue one Senator is willing to compromise and put in the work (assembling legislators to action) while the other is not. Senator McCain is not willing to submit, nor compromise, to ensure legislation that attends to the citizens concerns and needs, gets to the Presidents desk.

Many conservatives would argue with you that Sen. McCain compromised too much when it came to immigration reform.

This is one time I am with Senator McCain on the topic of tapping the strategic reserves. With the likelyhood high that the Bush/McCain team will attack Iran we will need every drop in the reserves to offset the major supply decline from conflict in the region. McCain knows which wars he plans to start and knows we will need the reserves
