GOOD GRIEF
he does not need any more money
he has not said he wants Obama to win
he said on Larry King last night he is not for either one
quit reading some thing in that has not been said
his plan sounds better than anyone else's plan
How do you know he doesn't need more money? Even Donald Trump wants more money, even Hugh Hefner wants more sex. T. Boones endorsed Bush in 2004 and endorsed Guiliani in 2008, he is for the GOP even though he is not endorsing McCain.
Quote:
ask Al Gore how much money can be made on global warming??
he is the ***** on that one
Al Gore's mansion can power over 200 houses, he's the worst pollutant to the environmental awareness cause. Environmentalism is a basic philosophy of living a better, healthier life while being more economical. For example riding a bike to school, saves gas while getting a workout. Once you get politics involved there is generally a backlash and a beauracracy which gets in the way of efficiency, also a very important term in environmentalism.
He was an oil man in 2004. He needed Bush to win. Now, he wants Obama to win. He's got a whole new agenda now. He knows there's money to be made in alternatives to what made him a very wealthy man.
Boone Pickens may be a fine man, and has played a colorful and useful role on the American stage for decades. But his "energy plan," which he's spending a fortune to promote on cable TV, is not a plan.
Asserting that something would be good to do is not "a plan." Saying how to do it is "a plan." By this standard, what the legendary oil man is devoting $58 million to pitch hardly amounts to a decent slogan.
Ole T. Boone playing y'all for fools. He may be rich, but he just wants more. Take a look here: Business World - WSJ.com
