Default Poll: Who does more pandering to crowds: Barack Hussein Obama or his wife Michelle

Here's just one example for each.

Profiles: The Other Obama: Reporting & Essays: The New Yorker

Earlier on the day that Obama visited the nursery school, she addressed a congregation at the Pee Dee Union Baptist Church, in Cheraw, a hamlet of about six thousand known as “The Prettiest Town in Dixie.” The church’s makeshift gravel parking lot, next to the Pee Dee Ice and Fuel Company and bounded by train tracks, was full. After an invocation by the Reverend Jerry Corbett and an introduction by the mayor of Cheraw, Obama came to the pulpit. “You all got up bright and early just for me?” she asked the mostly elderly, almost all-black crowd. “Yes!” they roared. Obama continued, “On behalf of my church home and my pastor, Reverend Wright, I bring greetings.”

Michelle Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents. “We have become a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day,” she said, as heads bobbed in the pews. “Folks are just jammed up, and it’s gotten worse over my lifetime. And, doggone it, I’m young. Forty-four!”
Profiles: The Other Obama: Reporting & Essays: The New Yorker

From these bleak generalities, Obama moves into specific complaints. Used to be, she will say, that you could count on a decent education in the neighborhood. But now there are all these charter schools and magnet schools that you have to “finagle” to get into. (Obama herself attended a magnet school, but never mind.) Health care is out of reach (“Let me tell you, don’t get sick in America”), pensions are disappearing, college is too expensive, and even if you can figure out a way to go to college you won’t be able to recoup the cost of the degree in many of the professions for which you needed it in the first place. “You’re looking at a young couple that’s just a few years out of debt,” Obama said. “See, because, we went to those good schools, and we didn’t have trust funds. I’m still waiting for Barack’s trust fund. Especially after I heard that Dick Cheney was s’posed to be a relative or something. Give us something here!”

Federal Officers to Obama: We’re No Terrorists
Newsmax.com – Federal Officers to Obama: We’re No Terrorists
Thursday, August 7, 2008

By: Jim Meyers

The president of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association has sent a blistering letter to Barack Obama castigating him for a remark he made that the organization says equates its members with “terrorists.”

Speaking at the National Council of La Raza convention in San Diego on July 13, Obama told the largely Hispanic audience that the nation’s immigration system "isn't working." According to Obama, the problem with the system is that "communities are terrorized by ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] immigration raids" and "nursing mothers are torn from their babies."

Another option: John McCain and his drug addict wife...what's her name again, Miss Buffalo Chip? Anyway they do all the pandering.

ProudcapMarine, here's a few tips to finally start being taken seriously on this forum:

Stop creating excessive polls in which the question is skewed to support a pre-determined opinion.
Stop trying to use red for emphasis.
Stop using NewsMax as a source.

You're welcome.

This thread is about obama and the Mrs.

I'd say obama is the greater panderer. Meeshell still beats him in the angry, bitter complainer.

Anti - pandering.

Obama knocks Muslim women off the stage in Dearborn, Michigan. Afraid of backlash from his flock....who will follow him to November.

Ya know, how hyprocitical can you Democrats get?

Liberals probably want to include everyone, but Obama blatantly, unmistakenly and porpously forced two Muslim women from his camera view during this campaign stop.

Very stupid. Dearborn has the highest concentration of American Muslims in America, and even though he did this to look anti Muslim to centrists, American Muslims feel extremely insulted.

Forget your hope.

Well, McCain WOULD pander to crowds IF he ever got any.

Oh ya, HE drew that big crowd in Sturgis and didn't pander a bit to the crowd....except for offering up his wife to parade naked while eating a banana in the Miss Buffalo Chip contest

Isn't offering your wife up at Sturgis for Miss Cowchip the ultimate in couple pandering.
How much more can you do then offer your better half up for the visual delight of the crowd?
