LMAO. That's a good one. Can I use that?

I'll volunteer to help. Looks like you may have quite a few takers this election.

Things are getting uglier and uglier folks. Maybe we will see an attempted (or successful) assassination before it's all over and I'm not kidding.

I'm starting to think no matter who wins, there will be a dark cloud over this country for months and it will take a great deal of work to unify the country if it happens at all. Could the issues we face involve such polarization that we can't unify as a country and a civil war emerges? The hatred continues to escalate. I can't imagine how much worse it will be by election time. We may need protections at the polls, especially people of color. It's not going to be pretty. Mark my words, we will be referencing this thread again as we watch with dismay how ugly it gets.

I'll just agree with the above; take my savings out of the bank and convert it to gold and build a bomb shelter.. I am seriously frightened at what will happen if McCain and Palin are elected..

I know that both candidates are a far cry from the polarizing, failed policies of the Bush administration (yes, even McCain) and that both would have to try pretty damn hard to do a worse job than Bush.

Call me optimistic I guess.
