Apparently they don't want a girly-man president, either...

Sports team owners may not be John McCain’s answer to the Hollywood elite, but they’re overwhelmingly supporting his presidential campaign over Barack Obama’s.
...
Not only did McCain raise more than Obama from the owners in each of the four major professional sports leagues analyzed, but McCain even raised six times more from the owners of teams in Obama’s hometown of Chicago.
I have got to agree with you on this one. Considering the off field conduct of so many professional athletes it doesn't surprise me that ownership feels comfortable with one of similar behavior. Especially athletes cheating on their wives and having multiple relationships. Oh yeah and I forgot their love for fighting and crowd appeasing conflict and agressive behavior. Sounds so manly and McCainish. Maybe they can join John for a tag team against:
Russia
Iran
Iraq
Afghanistan
Venezuala
China
Ya thing Obama the role model of advanced education and appropriate behavior is threatening? He might make it hard to get gets to leave college to turn pro.
Athletic behavior is not cerebral but rather visceral. Thus they would prefer the visceral candidate over the cerebral and that should not surprise anyone. McCain is just that the half time coach who goes rah rah rah now go out and crush the the basta__
Just like his initial reaction to the 3:00 in morning phone call is to unleash the bombs, the coach wants you to hit them harder and take them out and oh yeah;
Take no prisoners
Very McCainish and not at all like Obama. Now what owner wants to encourage kids to become lawyers and not athletes?
True. They want someone who won't question why these mega-millionaires and their monopolistic sports leagues deserve to be exempt from the various anti-trust acts that long ago broke up most monopolies. If they want a doofus, McCain's their man.
Edit: Ya know, come to think of it, why should BEER distributors (aka Cindy McCain) be allowed EXCLUSIVE areas in which to sell beer. How about we get some COMPETITION in the price of BEER! Yeah! BTW: My nephew worked for A-B in St Louis, and it cost 19-cents to make a bottle of Bud, or $1.14 per six pack. What are YOU paying at your retail store?
