another funny tid bit
when Obama used the example of one of the things he did to work across party lines, he said he and John Mccain worked on a bill together. The bill he was talking about, he left John Mccain in the dust and voted with the dems, Mccain wrote a seething letter to Obama. So it was not even true the account he gave.
Typicial Obama...............

As opposed to Dumbo with his "I had a troubled youth and no father in the house........" I was waiting for the famous Steve Martin line I was born a poor..........

I just have to hand this one to McCain. He was the clear winner here and not by a small amount. I think Obama did his best with a crowd that is probably mostly Republican and with questions that would be hostile to Obama's positions on certain issues including abortion. I do give credit to Obama for agreeing to do a forum where he was clearly the underdog.

You are right. The way he said and the look on his face was very reluctant, embarassed and sincere all at the same time.

Personally I wasn't impressed. Carol Shepp was a successful swimsuit model when she married McCain.

After 14 years, a little weight, and a crippling car accident, he left her for a 25 year old former USC cheerleader.

The honest answer is: I like young hot women.

At least the poll reflects that almost 70% have a clue.

Look folks, lets get back on topic and try to refrain from the series of personal attacks and the flame war that has erupted. It is not about you or them, the topic is...

Who did the best at the warren interviews

I'm disappointed. Obama was way too wordy and circumspect. I agree with whoever stated that Obama sees in shades of grey, and that's a good thing. But tonight he just appeared unsure of himself . He needs to stop talking so much!

Much to my dismay, the night goes to McCain who was more direct and concise.

However....I have to add that while I won't say that McCain had a lead on the questions, I am leaning toward thinking it
His answers appeared well rehearsed and he appeared more comfortable than I've ever seen him.
