Yep, Obama is back up to his 3 point lead. I think that most people have already made up their minds, but I'm sure Obama will pull off a victory and the DEMs will enjoy a landslide.

Still...really? Luckily for you we didn't dwell on Jeremiah Wright nearly as long as you are trying to drag out a divorce 30 years ago. Oh thats right, because its all you have while Obama keeps giving us new ammunition..oops!

Ya better start cashing in the new munitions soon as the old ones haven't put McCain ahead yet. Maybe the old beats the new? Just wondering.

Ok McCain won and thus far it has gotten him? When I write posts that his day will come tomorrow I get accused of stuff. So what gives? When will he get his just reward for his performance in a Christian arena?

They both played exactly to casting. I've known these guys as friends for some time, and if either of them got elected president I wouldn't agree with everything they're doing, but I happen to like them both. Obama is the thoughtful consensus builder. He's a constitutional attorney. He's going to talk about shades and variations and things like that. John McCain is the straightforward happy warrior, and he's going to get right to the point... They both showed exactly the personalities that they have.

Here you go Tuborg; NY is in play it appears.
Quote:
The race for President continues to tighten in New York, with Democrat Barack Obama leading Republican John McCain 47-39 percent, down from 50-37 percent in July and 51-33 percent in June. Obama has a 54-34 percent favorable rating and McCain has a 49-41 percent rating.
“While New York has not gone ‘red’ in a presidential race since 1984, Obama’s lead over McCain has fallen from 18 points in June to just eight points today,” Greenberg said. “Certainly the dynamic in the race will change with the two conventions and the selection by both candidates of vice presidential running mates.”

McCain looked and sounded like a robot when he gave answers. At least Obama gave his answers some thought and answered them honestly. To answer the abortion question with a quick "life starts at conception" answer will not help the women with unwanted pregnancies. Wouldn't it be nice if women only got pregnant when THEY wanted to without making mistakes. Obama said women take the issue of aborting a pregnancy very seriously and they do. This is not a quick fix solved by guys deciding pro life is for THEM to decide on. PRO-Stopping unwanted pregnancies should be the platform not moralising on the unfortunate woman who has to make a really hard decission.
