Warrens question was very straightforward, "When does life begin?" That was the question!! McCain gave a very straight forward direct answer, "At conception"! Obama did not, he rambled all over the place because, he knows a person proffessing to be a Christian has a problem being pro abortion!

To me, this means that Obama has thoughtfully come to his own beliefs.

So the morning after pill is murder? Any thing that a woman might do immediately after sex is murder? Is having a drink during early pregnancy child abuse?

Since McCain belives that a baby has human rights at conception will McCain prosecute woman for child abuse if they fail to exercise full pre natal care?
Prenatal Care
should woman be prosecuted for failure to follow and will it be considered a human rights violation. Yes Obama understands the ramifications and yes is the more thoughtful of the two. Yes you could say reflective vs impulsive.

How much thought does it take to come to the belief that you will never be elected to high office in the Democrat party being pro life! The fact is, McCain stated a definite position, Obama talked in circles avoiding a straight answer. I believe his actual answer was "That is above my pay grade". Thoughtfull!!

Well, what are they? He certainly didn't tell us.
I don't think you bots realize how damaging this non-answer is. If he would have said "at birth", that would have been much, much better for him. He could have said that and people might not agree, but AT LEAST it would have been an answer and not a sidestep.
Trust me, I was overjoyed when he gave this answer. It will sink him.
But he definitely could have mitigated the issue with a very reasonable of "at birth".

Well then woman be prepared to be incarcerated for human rights violations in a McCain American and remember he committed his administration to enforcing pro life policies. thus if you are pregnant and smoke you might be charged with a human rights violation and prosecuted. Why not McCain was straight to the point with out reflection and no ifs or buts so get ready for jail time. No wiggle room under him at conception human rights and you have violated them don't forget proper nutrition the human rights office of conception affairs will be there. His administration is committed to it. Now Obama understands the ramifications but hey who needs understanding we want forcefull yes it is.

McCain supporters you have his straight and direct answers to work with don't try to add anything to by interpreting, for as you said he was straight to the answer with no ambiguity. thus we will need more jails for woman. those detention centers will need to have pre natal programs to protect the unborn from any more human rights abuses and his administration is committed to Pro Life policies.

Tuborg, you are getting hysterical.
McCain believes the states should determine the abortion issue. I agree with that. Whether you agree with Roe or not, there is concensus, even among liberal lawyers, that the court pulled the decision out of their butts. It was and is bad law.
States rights, my friend.

When did he say it was a states issue? He said that about same sex marriage. Making it a state decision won't stop abortions as people will just cross state lines. All it takes is one pro life appointment to replace one of the leaving pro choice ones and boom there you go.
