Serious question: could any of you neocon clowns have even found Georgia on a map a month ago? Let alone have thought that who rules two of their provinces is of deep concern to America? What planet do you people live on, anyway?

LOL...we haven't done what was necessary under the current alcoholic redneck-in-chief, and we did a whole hell of a lot that was unnecessary, and counterproductive on top of it.

Obama has already failed on this.

He gave the wrong answer and then switched it.

He has already been given the chance and he screwed it up badly.

I am actually surprised Russia has not reclaimed Ukraine, Belorussia, and the Baltic States. I dont think it will be long before they do.

Greeting's,

With the current weakness and inexperience exhibited by the Washington Administration on every front.......... it appears most probable that Russia will make a bold move to militarily occupy these great land masses without any fear of retalation form anywhere on the planet.....

America.... America...... Where hast all thou great leaders gone ???

Thank You / L. F.

I am sorry but NEITHER would be the correct answer... McCain is a neoconservative (pro-war) and would mess everything up... Obama is the socialist (I do whatever I want cause I am at the top and you're nothing) and would anger some people while making others happy... in the end, neither would be great in most situations... I rather let the nations duke it out... Cause you see, just because Russia attacks another country does NOT mean that Russia is automatically in the "wrong".... People may say that violence doesn't solve anything but I say watch what you say and do cause there are consequences for them...

I think Russia could care less about those countries but is greatly concerned with losing the Caspian Basin energy fields to the ever encroaching Chinese. Russia desparately wants to dell that oil to Europe or India. China would like to get the reserves for themselves.

Why is anyone concerned about Russia? America has its own problems on domestic soil, who gives a rat's behind about what happens on the opposite side of the world?

Because that country on the opposite side of the world effects things here... and they are perfectly capable of reaching out and touching you and in the not too distant past expressed a very strong desire and intention of doing so.
