Presidential polling - CNN.com

Please reference the linked chronological poll of polls and identify for the readers when McCain has ever had a lead?

Really though, take a good, objective look at those polls. Most of them have a +10% party affiliation toward a democrat. And he's only tied? That is not good - it means he is losing some of his party.

Ok a lead is a lead. Now what you might find interesting if you have not already seen are the poll results with Barr and Nader included.
RealClearPolitics - Election 2008 - Obama vs. McCain (with Barr, Nader)

If you cannot find one yourself then you should really be voting.

Who are you to challenge anyone? I didnt dance over it, I ignored you silly questions, I just do not do work for a liberal who would not understand it anyway.

Free Kool Aid and crayons for every Obama robot.

To use the normal liberal way of figuring things, Obama was suppose to be up by 15% points at this time, since he is now only up 1% he has lost 14% points in a very short time.

So Sanrene, you are correct, he is losing voters daily.

With all due respect, you are really undermining your rhetoric with such responses, SC. You can combat that by providing the supporting background material that you've already referenced. With it, you are more likely to convince those you seek to influence. Without it, people might assume you are not truthful or sincere.

2008 electoral vote map - Los Angeles Times

Well, this has McCain up 202-154, 182 tossups. It could change, just like the Politico map.

Again, that is an interactive map--a "toy" anyone can play with to create electoral college scenarios. It is not based on a poll. Why would you post that?

It is based on polls (for the toss-ups) and the actual 2004 results. The default map is 2004 election along with the tossup states.

The firm blue/red have McCain ahead.

Why does "punkrock" want to see an electoral map. As if a map is better than polling data. Unless the map is made the day after the election it is only a map reflecting the current polling data. Oh wait he discounts all polling data?
