I can't believe this argument over who is winning and who is not. The popular polls had Kerry winning up until the wee hours after all the polls had closed. LMAO It will be over when it is over.

Here;

2008 electoral vote map - Los Angeles Times

Quick! Look before it changes.

McCain 202-154, 182 tossup.
Is that the map you were looking at? I'm sorry, but it is an "interactive" map that allows you to move the states into either the red or blue column and save it. It does not appear to be based on any kind of polling.

I just made it all blue.

or maybe you meant this as a joke? You got me!

From the map's instructions:

“Click states to put them in McCain’s or Obama’s column

Share your scenario

Defaults based on 2004 results. States are “up for grabs” if 2004 margin of victory was less than 8 points”

Hey, punk asked for a map, any map that had McCain ahead. When you go to the LAT website, this map appears. All electoral maps on based on 2004 results and then you have the "up for grabs" or "tossup" states as just that. So, among states that are clearly blue or red, McCain has the lead.

You are wrong.

This map has absolutely nothing to do with 2008. Silly.

Nice try walid;

With no toss-up, in other words, based on who is leading in the individual states, it's McCain 274-264.

Isn't that how you usually cite these maps? With no toss-ups?

I guess what's different now is that McCain is leading with no toss-ups.

Shocking, isn't it?

No. I don't cite maps, I post percentage data, and synopsis based upon empirical data. Once again you're found unaware of your surroundings. - Ra's Al Gul
You can find the one instance above, pardon me for attempting to steer you towards objectivity.

Toss ups do not indicate a lead, they indicate too close to call based upon current data, or a high level of unpredictability or uncertainty. Using this data indicates one is looking at the information objectively, lack of, would indicate an adviser isn't doing his job, and you wouldn't want your Senator's advisers to be accused of that come Election day, would you? I expect not - perhaps you'll find it useful to use the data the way they are. You can be certain from the campaign finance data released, they are focusing on the "toss-up" States.
