With any luck Obama's numbers will tank even further and make the upcoming dem convention fun -- when voting for Gore or Kerry they at least thought they were going with a winner. This time they get to cast a vote for a likely loser.

It's still anyone's election. I do think Obama is losing ground and he better beat Mccain next debate.

It will be issues not Relegious mumbo jumbo so I expect he will win the debate .

Unlike many Obama supporters I do feel he has lost his edge. Something is off but it's still anyon'es election.

Disagree; however, the lineup they've got to speak at that convention is like a Saturday Night Live skit. There's a thread here about it, eloquently titled "Losers."

More liberal fascism. Are you going to kick all Hillary supporters from the party?

Obama needs to go back to his Hillary strategy of "duck and hide." He's getting pounded like a frog in an arcade game every time he pops his head up.

If you look towards the bottom of page one, it will give you the bounce for past conventions:

Don't panic guys - on both sides. There's a lot of stuff that can happen between now and the election. I think we all realize this will be a close election. Obama had the trend before, now McCain has it. Things can and will probably change after each convention. They've both got oodles of money to spend. I guess we will all be hanging on every poll that comes out and argue what it could mean, just like the professional pundits.

I think the choice of a running mate which both will be making soon may somewhat significantly impact the course of this election. What do you guys think?

Whats the other choice besides McCain?

He said he's a Democrat, not a Marxist.
