Am I the only one??? Neither McCain nor Obama appeal to me. In fact, I don't think there was a viable candidate out of all those who ran in the primaries! With all the intelligent and wonderful people in this country, the "process" narrowed it down to these two! Unbelieveable! The only hope I had was that one of them would pick a decent VP! Unfortunately, according to the current news flashes, that's not looking promising either --it will be the battle of the "Joe's"! But who knows, maybe there will be a surprise.....and just maybe, somebody to vote for! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!?!?! BTW, I'm neither liberal or conservative, but a nice blend of both and my standards are not that high!

No, you are not the only one...but one is VERY much objectionable which helps makes the other the better candidate to me. Besides, since the interviews, I am feeling better about voting for him as well.
You could write in or vote 3rd party if you really want to just make a "statement"...but then you can not really blame anyone else for not being willing to throw their vote into the "all others" catagory...which is exactly what you would be doing if you did. It is what it is this go around, and if you are not happy with your choices this time around, get involved with the grooming of someone you CAN feel good about voting for and have some input next election cycle.
Those that don't bother to vote don't have the right to complain IMHO.
Mccain was not my first choice. But I will vte for him happily if it means keeping the dangerous, inexperienced, socialist-with-terrorists-as friends out of the WH.

You're not alone. I don't really like either one. Wish I did.
Im not a hard core right winger by any stretch, but I wanted Fred Thompson. I like the idea of a Federalist, giving the states more leeway/power. I like someone that speaks straight up (McCain may have that label, but its at least partially facade). I wish he would of caught on, at least enough to find out if he could of been the real deal.
I don't know why we got stuck with these two. McCain is the lesser of the two evils. Obama with his socialist agenda would be terrible for the economy.
After finding out that Obama wants to cut my taxes a hell of a lot more than McCain, I know more than ever that I'll vote for Obama. I would be a senseless idiotic fool if I voted for McCain. The only sound reason to not vote for Obama is because you're rich because Obama wants to tax them more to make my tax cut a lot bigger than McCain's, who wants to concentrate most of the tax cutting for the wealthy. So for us middle class, please have the good sense and intelligence to vote for Obama instead of McCain. Don't be too blind and shut minded regarding the facts as to not to do so.
And don't fall for the lies that are gonna be told over and over again about Obama. That's because there's a lot of vulnerable, gullible people out there who will fall hook, line and sinker for just about anything they hear, so beware and don't be taken advantage of.

Then you must believe in Healthcare thru bankuptcy. If you have no insurance and run up a $50,000 medical bill, then just declare bankruptcy over it, and we who can afford health insurance will take care of it the next time we nenew our health insurance with a higher premium. If there's a better way to avoid the scare of socialism, then you tell me.
